- For name-surname.com.tr, no document is required for domain name applications that match the identity information exactly. However, if the identity information and the applied domain name do not match exactly or if there is a technical problem while connecting to the Mernis system, a photocopy of the identity card with the T.R. identity number or a photocopy of the identity card without the T.R. identity number on it, as well as a photocopy of the printout taken from a web page with the T.R. identity number,
- For legal entities and organisations with commercial purposes, any of the documents mentioned in the following three items ‘Certificate of Activity’, ‘Commercial Registry Certificate’, ‘Copy of Chamber Registry Record’ or trade name announcement published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, ‘Trademark Registration Certificate’ or ‘Trademark Application Certificate’ obtained from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, ‘Certificate of Registry’ or ‘Commercial Registry Gazette’ obtained from the Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen of Turkey,
- For domain name applications made for associations and foundations, the applicant organisation's founding law, foundation deed or association charter - the first three pages and the last page - must be submitted to the ‘.tr’ Domain Name Management.
- Non-profit organisations such as projects and congresses are required to obtain letters of support from at least three non-governmental organisations in order to apply for the second level subdomain ‘.org.tr’.
- Regarding the allocation of the ‘.av.tr’ subdomain name, the UMT has prepared three groups of documents under the headings of information note, rules and commitment letter, and these documents have been made available to users at http://www.barobirlik.org.tr/avtr/.
- In order to allocate domain names with ‘.av.tr’ extension; following the application made to us, the online application form on the website of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) must be filled in. Following this process, the domain name application will be audited by the TBB Informatics Coordination Office within the framework of the ‘av.tr Domain Name Allocation Rules’, and if it complies with the rules, it will be approved by the TBB. The applied domain name will be allocated following the approval to be sent from the UMT.
- If the institution requesting the domain name is a public school, the written permission document signed and stamped by the authority on the letterhead paper issued by the authority of the directorate of primary, high school and equivalent schools, or the Domain Name Allocation Form must be sent to the ‘.tr’ Domain Name Management signed and stamped by the authorised person.
- If the institution requesting a domain name is a private school, the Institution Opening Permit issued by the Ministry of National Education and the Workplace Opening and Operation Licence obtained by applying to the relevant municipality must be sent to the ‘.tr’ Domain Name Management.
- For the allocation of the domain name, the written permission document issued by the rector's office of the university that will use the domain name, on letterhead paper, signed and stamped by the rector or the person with the relevant 1st degree signature authority, or
- ‘Domain Name Allocation Form’ must be sent to “.tr” Domain Name Management signed and stamped by the authorised person.
- ‘ISP (Internet Service Provider) General Permission Certificate’ (Telecommunication Licence) obtained from the Telecommunication Authority,
- For all web-based individuals or organisations, a petition (with a photocopy of the relevant person's identity card for applications made on behalf of an individual) containing the details of the application (addresses of existing web pages with .com or .net extension, etc.),
- For persons or organisations applying for the ‘net.tr’ extension by declaring that they will provide internet service, a petition containing the details of the application and stating that it is accepted that the relevant domain name will be deleted if it is determined that the web page promised to be made is not made (together with a photocopy of the identity card of the person concerned in applications made on behalf of the person).
- For the allocation of the domain name, a signed approval document by the president of the municipality that will use the domain name or
- ‘Domain Name Allocation Form’ must be sent to “.tr” Domain Name Management signed and stamped by the authorised person.
- For the allocation of this domain name, some documents requested by TTB must be submitted to TTB. The relevant documents are available for users at http://www.ttb.org.tr/drtr. The applied domain names will be allocated by taking into consideration the approval letter to be sent by TTB to ‘.tr’ Domain Name Management.
- The ‘first come first served’ principle applies in domain name allocation.
- For the allocation of the domain name, the signed and stamped approval document of the General Directorate of Security of the police organisation that will use the domain name or
- ‘Domain Name Allocation Form’ must be sent to “.tr” Domain Name Management signed and stamped by the authorised person.
