Step-by-Step Installation of Wordpress

Step 1: Choose Your Hosting Provider

First, you need to choose a hosting provider. After choosing your hosting provider, purchase a hosting plan.

Step 2: Domain Name Selection

After purchasing your hosting plan, you need to choose a domain name. If you already have a domain name, you can skip this step. However, if you need to register a new domain name, you can do this with the guidance of your hosting provider.

Step 3: Set Up Your Hosting Account

Log into the control panel provided by your hosting provider (usually cPanel). Next, go to a section that usually has an option to install WordPress, such as "Softaculous" or "WordPress Installer".

Step 4: WordPress Installation

If you are using Softaculous or a similar tool, select "Install WordPress" or a similar option. In the form that appears, fill in information such as site name, username, password and e-mail. There will usually be a language option and advanced settings, you can optionally adjust these settings.

Step 5: Complete Setup

After entering the information, continue with the "Complete Installation" or similar button. WordPress will be automatically installed on the domain and folder you selected. The process may take a few minutes.

Step 6: Log in to WordPress

When the installation is complete, you will be provided with a link and information to log in to the WordPress admin panel. By logging in with this information, you can manage your new WordPress site and add content.

Now your WordPress site is ready! You can start exploring the "Appearance" and "Plugins" sections to customise your site and add plugins to suit your needs.
